Hi, thank you for your comment and would like to find out whats wrong
      and help.
Do you have a test page on your website where I could see the problem!?
Can you also send me the parameters how you setted up the plugin to my mypuzzle.org email adress!?.

      Many thanks,
      Tom

I had the same problem. In the javascript-jquery file the directory was not labeled correctly.
I myself made a quick fix by adding http:// etc. before the path to the given directory. In the PHP files it was done correctly.

I have a similar problem to the other comment.

I have installed your plugin on one of my grand-daughters instance of WordPress ( they have sub-directories within the site). When I check the image URL it misses out the sub-directory, in this case ‘Amber’ and as I have my own instance of WordPress it does not contain your plugin. Hence none of the images show. If I use the default path, the grid does not show.

Could you guide me to the code line(s) where the path is generated so that I can include the sub-directory.

Thanks for any guidance you can give

      Hi John,

thanks for your feedback. Are you using the wordpress multi-site feature for these instances?
Right now the plugin probably does not support that properly. Would you be willing to support a test when I include that feature?
Anyway have to tried to adjust the “gallery path” parameter accordingly to include the wp-instance path?
When you try to change the code yourself, there are several positions in the “ftpair-mypuzzle.php” (line 117 probably), as well as probably in the “js/ftpair-mypuzzle.js” (not sure whether).

      Thanks for your help.

        Hi John,

just made a quick check. When I install the plugin on a wp-network and activate it on each site it works for me jstu fine!?
Have you installed/tested it this way?

        Thanks, Tom

    Tom,

Thanks for the reply. I am not using a multisite – just separate instances of wordpress. The only way I can make the plugin work is to install the images in a gallery directory within my own instance of wordpress, in the parent directory. I have tried to vary the path instances where it appears in the code, I have also tried to list my own image directory, all to no avail.

I will take my time now to unpick the code and find the point at which the machine is getting confused.

Congratulations on a nice piece of software.

      Hi Barbara,
good idea in general. However right now thats not possible. The game just takes one image and uses it twice.
So changing the code for your feature is not a simple fix, but requires some redesign.
I will definitely consider to add that feature for a later version.

    Nice plugin!
It would be nice if there is a timer/stopwatch to count the player’s time to solve the puzzle. And perhaps a ‘best time hall of fame’ board.

Hello Tom, first of all, thank you for your great plugin ! Unfortunately, I have the same problem with the WordPress plugin as Kurt for the Joomla one : the images are not displayed, the links are broken. My WordPress installation is in a subdirectory. Even the default path doesn’t work. Did you fix this for the WordPress Plugin ?

Many thanks in advance for your reply.

      Hi Cecile,
because it works for many people I do need a test-post on your site to see what might be wrong.
Can you create one and send me the link?
      Many thanks

I am using a number of WP plugins for Mypuzzle and love them – but for some reason this one take multiple pairs of the same picture (with differing levels of fuzziness), despite the fact that there are plenty of images in the image directory to mean multiple versions of the same image don’t need to be used.

All images are jpg and all get used eventually (by clicking “Restart” link repeatedly), so the system sees all the images as available, but just doesn’t use them all within a single puzzle display for some reason.

      Hi,
yes right now all images will be “considered” that are in the configured path “Path to Gallery”.
However with the option “Pair count” you define how much images will be taken for the puzzle as pairs.
Lets say you configured 6. Then 6 images will be loaded randomly and they will be used twice (as pair) in the puzzle.
Was that what you where asking for?
